Double Devil is our double extraction Devil’s Club Salve. We do a double extraction method to get as much of the wonderful healing and pain-relieving properties as we can out of the Devil’s Club. We combine the powerful anti-inflammatory properties of Devil’s Club with Camphor and Plantain to create this wonderfully woodsy scented salve to help alleviate even the most stubborn aches and pains.
Devil’s club (also known as Alaskan ginseng) has been widely used by indigenous people of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest for spiritual practices and as a medicine for many generations. Use of the plant has been documented in thirty-eight different languages throughout its territory along the west coast of North America. We sustainably harvest the Devil’s club so that it thrives in the area we pick to help preserve this precious natural resource.
White Camphor Oil is an anti-inflammatory and stimulates nerve endings that reduce symptoms of pain and itching when topically applied to the skin. Camphor may also be used for treating acute pain. It desensitizes the nerve endings when applied to the skin and gives a warm sensation. Plantain is a great anti-inflammatory due to its chemical composition of mucilage (moisture retention), iridoid glycosides(anti-inflammatory) and tannins (antioxidants and immune stimulants)

Oplopanax horridus (Devil’s Club Root) Infused Olive Oil, Comfrey and Plantain infused olive oil, Alaskan Beeswax, Organic essential oils (White Camphor) & Organic Vitamin E
